Darien Wallace
Darien K. Wallace graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a B.S. degree in chemistry and holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School .
Darien oversees the patent prosecution of several clients and has personally drafted and filed over 350 patent applications. Darien prosecutes patents in the fields of electrical circuits, semiconductors, telecommunications and software. Darien also litigates patent infringement suits in the Northern and Central Districts of California.
Darien began his professional career as a litigation attorney at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop) in San Francisco. Darien moved to Germany in 1990 as a fellow with the Robert Bosch Foundation, and subsequently worked for 11 years in various capacities at Siemens Aktiengesellschaft.
Darien worked in the legal department of Siemens negotiating technology joint ventures in Eastern Europe and Asia , including technology transfer agreements. In the finance department, he arranged financing for nationwide telecoms projects in emerging markets. Darien was head of Siemens Financial Services in Moscow, CFO of Siemens’ mobile networks group, and head of the venture capital unit of Siemens Business Services.
Darien is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
